Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Assistant F&B Manager to supports the Director Food & Beverage in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets. This role ensures excellent guest service, smooth service delivery, staff supervision, and compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in improving customer satisfaction, controlling costs, and achieving departmental targets.

This role is located at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar, Kiwengwa, Zanzibar. Applications will close on or before 13th March.

This role requires previous experience working as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or equivillant beverage background to apply.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Assist in managing daily food and beverage service operations across restaurants, bars, banquets, or room service
  • Ensure all outlets maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Motivate staff to maintain excellent customer service and teamwork.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs to meet budget targets
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, staffing, and service performance.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and setting departmental goals.
  • Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

ABOUT YOU

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in F&B is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
