Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Bar Manager where you will expertly manage all hotel bar colleagues and responsible for the hotels overall beverage offering. You will support your team to ensure we continuously deliver excellent standards and exceed customer satisfaction.

This role is located at TUI BLUE Palm Beach Hammamet, Hammamet, Tunisia. Due to work visa requirements, candidates must have the right to live and work in Tunisia before applying.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You will support the F&B Manager with shaping and developing the hotels annual plan whilst being responsible for the overall coordination of the hotel’s beverage offering.
  • You will ensure daily implementation of all product and service standards and demonstrate your experience by following and developing recipes around the TUI beverage concept.
  • Responsible for designing, costing, and pricing of all beverages, wine and cocktail menus and bar drinks or special promotions.
  • Directly manage your teams' rostering and work patterns of your bar teams whilst accounting for hotel occupancy and special events.
  • Perform regular employee individual and team meetings, development conversations and performance reviews and identify additional training needs and implement relevant training to enhance performance.
  • Bar Management and compliance control with stock and finance checks by conducting regular checks and monthly inventories.
  • Build and maintain effective communication across your department and with other departments promoting teamwork and collaboration.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experienced leading a bar team preferably within a busy luxury All-Inclusive hotel setting.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of HACCP requirements and procedure is required.
  • Experienced in mixology with knowledge and passion for modern bar trends.
  • Natural leader with a strong ability to train, develop and motivate an international team.
  • Previous experience with cost controlling and bar management/compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the wider hotel leadership team. Being able to priorities, work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.
  • Naturally energetic, clear communication skills and guests centric is a key requirement.
  • Language required – Good standard of English and French is required for this role. Additional languages are highly advantageous.
