Responsibilities in this role:

  • Accounting responsibility for Swedish legal entities within the Transcom Group. You will be accountable for ensuring that all transactions related to financial processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Responsibility for delivering timely, relevant, and reliable financial reporting (including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting) in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.

  • Owning the periodical closing procedures, conducting deep dives into account analysis to ensure balances are correct.

  • Preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and resolving errors and discrepancies.

  • Maintaining the general ledger, collaborating with audits, and performing other assigned accounting duties.

  • Preparation of Annual Report.

  • Responsibility for reporting to local Tax Authorities (preparation of VAT report, Corporate Tax report).

  • Working closely with Business Controller functions to track business development, ensure proactive actions, and provide financial analysis.

  • Supporting the development and updating of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

What we are looking for:

  • A university degree preferably in accounting, finance, or business.

  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in financial functions, including experience with Procure-to-Pay process and AP accounting.

  • Prior experience in managing year-end processes, liaising with auditors, and a good working knowledge of the group reporting process in a multi-entities & currencies environment.

  • Good understanding of IFRS, key accounting concepts, and principles.

  • Experience with SAP is required; a professional accounting qualification and prior experience with Hyperion would be considered advantageous.

  • Fluency in written and spoken (business) English.

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS-Excel.
