Supplier Risk Analyst | 12 Month Secondment/ 12 Month FTC
Salary: From £33,040 DOE + annual bonus & benefitsWork Level: 1Location: Newcastle, Glasgow, EdinburghOffice Attendance: Our hybrid working model gives you the best of both worlds - flexibility to work from home and valuable face-to-face time with colleagues. Why this role?As a Supplier Risk Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to play an important role in supporting the delivery of supplier risk and assurance activities across our third-party supplier landscape. strengthening our control environment and supporting the delivery of positive customer and business outcomes.
Working closely with the Supplier Risk and Assurance Manager, you'll contribute to assurance reviews, risk monitoring, regulatory compliance activities and stakeholder engagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing information, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and helping to strengthen risk management and governance processes.
What you’ll be doing • Collecting, analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources to support supplier assurance activities, reporting and risk management decisions.• Supporting the delivery of supplier risk and assurance reviews, identifying issues, recommending actions and escalating concerns where appropriate.• Monitoring risk indicators and compliance requirements, ensuring supplier activities align with regulatory expectations, internal policies and control frameworks.• Producing reports, insights and analysis to support decision-making, continuous improvement and effective supplier oversight.• Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, actions and communications to support engagement and understanding.• Supporting the continuous development of supplier risk processes, controls and assurance activities while building your own technical knowledge and expertise.
What we’re looking for: (minimum criteria) • Experience analysing data, producing reports and drawing meaningful insights to support business decisions, risk management activities or assurance reviews.• Good knowledge of risk, compliance, governance or regulatory requirements, with the ability to interpret policies, assess issues and make sound recommendations.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, build relationships and present information clearly to a variety of audiences.• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
And if you have any of these, even better • Experience working within supplier risk, third-party risk, audit, compliance or operational risk environments.• Experience supporting assurance, regulatory or control testing activities.• Strong financial analysis or reporting experience.• Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks and supplier governance requirements.
