Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Network Project Manager to work on high-priority, cross-functional and complex change initiatives, having a direct impact on the successful delivery of our strategic plan.
With operational change management background or previous project management experience you will be working in the Network Development Team. As a project expert you will need to be able to work across business functions and respond to challenges that are often new for everyone involved.
To be successful in this role, you will need previous project management experience and the appropriate qualifications (APM- project fundamentals, or equivalent).
- Define and scope the projects / programmes you lead, establishing clear direction and alignment by ensuring a clear vision, objectives and plan are in place
- Mobilise cross functional project /programme teams and establish and embed ways of working
- Establish and facilitate the appropriate levels of governance to provide oversight and direction for the projects/programmes
- Engage and align stakeholders across all levels to deliver
- Manage inter-dependencies and impacts across projects / programmes
- Drive progress in a consistent, transparent way, and to identify and manage issues and risks, and opportunities
- Support subject matter expertise and development both within the team and across the Programmes, Projects and Change community
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Operational change management experience
- Commercial and analytical capability.
- Proven ‘hands on’ track record of delivering solutions within a pressurised environment.
- Able to work through ambiguity, providing clarity and driving change.
- Experience in running projects, engaging stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong business skills with the ability to breakdown problems and translate into solutions.
- Excellence in building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently considering the nature of the audience.
- Previous project management & professional project management qualification (APM or equivalent) to at least foundation level
