Seeking a highly skilled DB Pension Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical operational aspects of pension schemes, �regulations, and industry best practices.

This role involves providing expert advice, managing complex pension calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and future changes.

Pensions Scheme Management:

• �Manage pension scheme documentation, including trust deeds, rules, and policies and processes.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with pension regulations.

Pension Calculations and Advice:

• Calculate pension entitlements, lump sums, and tax implications.��
• Provide expert advice to employees on pension options and choices.
• Assist with pension transfers and consolidations.
• Deal with complex member queries and any issues that may arise
• Act as a referral point for more complex technical matters

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyse pension data to identify trends and potential issues. ��
• Prepare accurate and timely pension reports for management and regulatory bodies. ��
• Ensure data integrity and security throughout the operations team.
• Assist with system configuration and automated calculation updates

Technical Expertise: �

• DB experience
• �Strong and thorough knowledge of the UK pensions legislation framework
• Strong understanding of pension scheme administration and operations.
• Ability to business impact assess technical changes to the pension scheme operation

Analytical Skills: ��

• Ability to analyse complex pension data and draw meaningful conclusions. ��
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Communication Skills:

• �Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex pension concepts clearly.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
