
Lead Promotions Coordinator
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Promotions Co-Ordinator to join our team in Watford.
In this role, you’ll lead and support our Promotions Co-Ordinators while overseeing pricing and promotional activity across our brands. You’ll play an important part in making sure promotional and pricing data is accurate, delivered to agreed timescales and correctly reflected through our systems.
Working closely with our Category and Brand teams, as well as colleagues across Trading, Finance, Operations and other areas of the business, you’ll help ensure promotions run smoothly from initial set-up through to delivery.

- Lead, manage, coach and develop the Promotions Co-Ordinators.
- Build promotional deal sets alongside Category teams and ensure these are accurately loaded into SAP.
- Maintain accurate promotional master files and pricing data in line with agreed deadlines.
- Proofread marketing materials, coordinate amendments and resolve any issues with relevant teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for promotional queries across the business.
- Work closely with Category Managers to deliver ad hoc promotional requirements and requests.
- Manage supplier cost price increases (CPIs) with customers and Category teams.
- Coordinate the build and sign-off of bespoke National Account promotional deals.
- Support the planning and communication of pricing changes resulting from Chancellor’s Budgets.
- Provide input and support for Seasonal Pre-Sell campaigns, including range and price files.
- Investigate and process overcharge queries where required.
- Support with supplier invoice queries, including advertising and gate fees.
- Work closely with the Lead Promotions Co-Ordinator – National Accounts, developing transferable knowledge to provide support and cover across the area.
- Identify and support opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Provide holiday cover and wider support to the Promotions & National Accounts Manager as required.
- Previous experience in data management and administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different areas and levels of the business.
- Experience of leading, managing or developing people.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- A proactive approach, with the determination to follow tasks and issues through to completion.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Previous retail or wholesale experience would be beneficial.
- Experience using SAP would be advantageous.
