We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Recruitment Team Leader to manage a team of seven Recruitment Coordinators supporting our Cash & Carry business.

In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering a high-quality recruitment service across our Branch and Distribution Centre network. You'll play a key part in driving recruitment, supporting hiring managers, developing your team, and ensuring an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven team leader who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys leading people, improving processes and working in a fast-paced environment.

Based at our Head Office in Wellingborough (Equity House), this role is working Monday to Friday. You'll be managing a team that operates between 8.00am and 5.30pm therefore a need to be flexible on start and finish times will be necessary. Ideally, we are looking to offer rotational hours of 8.00am-4.30pm/9.00am-5.30pm.

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the Recruitment Hub, ensuring an efficient and customer-focused service.
  • Driving recruitment activity to meet hiring needs across the business.
  • Leading daily team meetings to manage priorities, allocate workload and support team performance.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Creating an inclusive, engaging and high-performing team culture.
  • Providing expert recruitment advice and guidance to hiring managers and People teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Planning for peak recruitment periods and ensuring the team is prepared to meet business demand.
  • Producing recruitment reports and analysing data.
  • Championing recruitment best practice, policies and procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the recruitment experience.
  • Supporting volume recruitment activity when required.
  • Previous recruitment experience within an in-house recruitment team or recruitment agency.
  • Experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
  • Experience managing recruitment performance, reporting and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, compliance and employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Tribepad.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale or retail sector would be advantageous.
