Responsibilities & Duties:

This is a high‑impact, full‑cycle sales role with a player–coach remit. You will generate and close new opportunities while coaching and directing the Business Development Representative (BDR) to maximise outbound performance and pipeline creation.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales, you’ll work closely with Marketing and cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences for new clients and transition them smoothly into the Account Management team. Your responsibilities will include:

Revenue & Pipeline Generation

Owning the New Business revenue line and delivering against ambitious quarterly targets

Generating a high‑quality pipeline through proactive outbound outreach

Running full sales cycles from prospecting through to close

Increasing the number of StrengthscopePlus™ contracts and multi‑year agreements secured through New Business.

BDR Leadership & Team Performance

Managing day‑to‑day performance of the BDR, including weekly sales meetings and coaching

Overseeing outbound activity plans and ensuring consistent execution against activity KPIs

Ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM discipline using Salesforce

Establishing best‑practice outbound standards and modelling high‑performance behaviours.

Strategic Sales & Market Focus

Collaborating with the Head of Corporate Sales to design and execute a strategic New Business plan

Prioritising conversion of marketing‑generated leads, improving lead‑to‑opportunity conversion rates

Staying up to date with industry trends, customer needs and competitor insights to ensure our solutions remain relevant and competitive.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partnering closely with Marketing to align outbound and inbound activity to campaign priorities

Contributing to a seamless handover and onboarding process

Sharing insights across teams to influence product development, marketing messages, and customer success outcomes.

Skills & Attributes:

If you have a mix of the following skills and attributes, you might be just who we’re looking for:

5+ years’ experience in a full-cycle New Business role with a proven track record of achieving individual revenue targets

Strong outbound prospecting capability and confidence in generating your own pipeline

Experience managing or mentoring others (formally or informally)

Commercial acumen, including experience closing contracted or recurring revenue deals

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence credibly at all levels

Ability to work under pressure with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
