The Role:
As a BDR, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers. You'll be responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging with new businesses to create qualified sales opportunities. This role is crucial to our company's growth, serving as the engine that fuels our sales pipeline. You'll work closely with our account executives and marketing team, learning from their expertise while honing your own sales skills.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers who could benefit from our digital signage platform.
Outreach: Engage with prospects through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media, to introduce ScreenCloud and set up discovery meetings.
Qualification: Conduct initial conversations to understand a prospect's needs and determine if they're a good fit for our solution.
Pipeline Management: Log all activities and maintain accurate information in our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
Collaboration: Work closely with our Account Executives to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads
Learning & Growth: Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to improve your sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (or a recent college graduate with relevant internships).
High energy and a resilient attitude—you don't shy away from a challenge.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced sales environment.
Big goals.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) is a plus, but not required.
Based in Charlotte, NC with the ability to be in the office two days a week.
