Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

ABOUT DIGITAL EXPERIENCES

The Digital Experience mission is to multiply the brand relationship and product value for SAP by creating connected, personalized experiences across the entire customer lifecycle. Focused on the intersection of user advocacy and business advocacy, the DX team delivers premium web experiences across SAP’s digital marketing ecosystem of websites. As digital natives, we operate with an agile, fail-fast, fix-fast mentality enabling us to test, iterate and optimize for highest performance. We are equal parts designers, marketers, and technologists which allows us to solve for complex experience problems.

In support of our solutions and audiences along the end-to-end digital journey continuum we harness the power of research, strategy formulation, requirements definition, UX, interactive design and innovation in support of SAP’s AI transformation journey. The team is also responsible for SAP’s corporate digital design system used by digital teams spanning marketing, sales, service and support.

MINDSET

  • You thrive creating order out of chaos. The DX team knows how to sift through information and opinions to derive experiences and customer journeys that drive impact.
  • Your approach to decision-making is outcome-oriented. The DX team doesn’t just derive solutions because someone asks for them, we prioritize and engineer solutions that improve the customer experience and are based on levers that we know will be a catalyst in SAP’s AI transformation journey.
  • You execute. The DX team has a hands-on culture and this is a hands on leadership role.
  • You are inclusive and rally others around our cause. DX operates in a matrixed organization. We cannot get things done by ourselves and value wide and open feedback.

Role Overview

The head of the Web Capability and Governance team will lead a team of digital business product managers and guide them to articulate and build transformative customer and partner experiences across our owned & operated websites (sap.com, content hubs, registration, sap store, events). In addition, through standards and governance the leader will establish the team as a trusted partner who helps transform digital experiences across websites owned by other teams in the company in a way that creates a coherent journey for our customers and partners.

The VP will lead the content management system (AEM) move to the cloud with a transformational mindset, rethinking existing ways of working in a way that allows the larger marketing organization to scale their impact without scaling their efforts or investment.

Through the delivery of capabilities used across digital experiences, the leader will increase the volume of marketing sourced opportunities originating from SAP marketing websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital business product managers.
  • Serve as the ultimate owner of the web business roadmap and business decision maker for quarterly planning in conjunction with our IT partners.

  • In conjunction with IT, ensure the SAP digital ecosystem is effectively governed by creating, maintaining and enforcing standards that apply to all websites, including those not directly managed by Digital Experiences teams.
  • Partner with R&D and AI team to deliver a viewpoint on internal AI web capabilities needed to transform the way the DX organization operates.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms, standards and processes required to build and deliver capabilities to the DX organization
  • Ensure teams across Global marketing are enabled on new or changed capabilities through effective change management.
  • Hold the team accountable for experience quality, conversion performance, and business impact of capabilities.
