Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you will build
As a Product Manager in an agile and empowered product team you are responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop and deliver the features that provide a key capability of the product – the ability to extend it in ways that allow our customers to innovate and differentiate their brand and their products.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle - from understanding customer and market needs, to defining product requirements aligned with broader product and business objectives, to driving the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. You will work on a mission-critical system used by global enterprises, where performance, user experience, and operational readiness are essential.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to product roadmap and execution for the extensibility experience and capabilities which are an integral part of SAP Commerce Cloud
- Understand market trends and customer needs by engaging with customers, partners, sales, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges within digital commerce
- Prioritize and maintain the Product and Release Backlog and ensure execution together with the development, user experience and user assistance teams with a focus on integrated processes
- Own release planning and readiness, including coordination across dependent teams, and support enablement for sales, partners, and customers
- Contribute to commercialization and growth, supporting packaging, pricing, and positioning, and partnering with go-to-market teams to drive customer adoption
- Measure and optimize outcomes by defining KPIs, gathering feedback, and continuously iterating to improve customer value and business impact
What you bring
- Deep practical experience of agile product management ideally for major cloud native enterprise software vendors.
- Proven track record of building a product (feature) roadmap and then leading the execution of the roadmap via requirements collection and backlog definition and prioritisation
- Usage of AI-based tooling for problem statement definition, requirement elaboration and prototype creation
- Deep technical understanding of cloud native enterprise solutions, ideally with a focus on solution extensibility and integration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to rapidly gather data, structure hypotheses, and develop synthesized findings/recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present strategy to senior leadership while working effectively with engineering teams
- Self-directed, outcome-oriented mindset with ability to drive initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments
- 6+ years relevant experience with product management, solution management or consulting roles closely related to development.
- Domain experience in Digital Commerce and e-commerce platforms is a plus; experience in adjacent domains such as Customer Experience or Marketing Automation Platforms is also valued.
