What you'll build:

  • Proposes and implements ITSM processes improvements (Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Monitoring, Backup and Restore, User and Access Management etc.)
    • Speaks the same language as process owners, compliance teams.
    • Can propose well justified process improvements by employing understanding of the processes in the cloud process map - e.g. makes difference between change management and incident management.
      • Considers that process improvements/amendments/definitions do not cause unnecessary waste.
    • Possesses process-oriented mindset

  • Supports already released software
    • Uses knowledge about cloud infrastructure (at least in one of the areas - network, server, storage, backup) to troubleshoot, verify running processes, analyze logs.
    • Can work on tasks/issues involving containers, VMs and hypervisors in their daily work applying knowledge about modern virtualization and containerization technologies
    • Covers extended working hours based on on-call/on-duty shifts and is OK with that.
    • Involvement in performance analysis
      • Does performance analysis on specific scenarios using relevant tools - e.g. Dynatrace.
      • Build performance tests using relevant tools - e.g. jmeter.
      • Pinpoint hotspots suggest improvements where necessary.
      • Cut through layers of dependency to pinpoint bottlenecks using relevant tools (e.g Dynatrace)
    • Perform various stability tests proactively.
      • E.g. chaos monkey/ chaos kong/ turbulence tests
      • Document problems

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Alternatively, high school student in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related subject
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented and script programming
  • Continuous Delivery, automation environments and tools knowledge
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good Knowledge of troubleshooting and support processes
  • Relevant incident and change management knowledge
  • Understanding of operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows)
  • Networking knowledge (IP packets, OSI Layer, Routing, NAT etc.)
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills (mail, phone and face-to-face)
  • Team Player
  • Contributes to the positive atmosphere in the team
  • Able to adjust to changes in environment and technologies
