Summary:

SAP CPIT provides efficient IT solutions, technology and operational support to our Lines of Businesses (LoBs) with a strong focus on user-centricity. Fundamentally, IT Operations is the backbone to ensure rock solid Operations an allow resilient, manageable, and observable system stack running SAP processes. Our Production Management Portals Platform Service team is responsible to implement & operate 24x7 Customer and Corporate Business applications Here we act as a trusted advisor and expert, driving together to build and run scalable secure applications in modern, dynamic environments utilizing SAP/ custom developed and 3rd party software stack. DevSecOps is the guiding strong methodology enabling Continuous Development and Integrations in an agile environment. SAP's internal business landscapes build on private, respectively hybrid cloud platforms are a strategic enabler for SAP and therefore crucial for SAP's future success in the cloud.

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute our core operations cloud enablement team in IT Operations. Challenge yourself in the fast-paced world of cloud infrastructure and become an integral.

Our global team is responsible to implement & operate web business systems and supplying latest Application Performance Management, Observability, CI/CD and Security tool chain. Here we act as the technical trusted advisor, driving together to build and run scalable secure applications in modern dynamic environments utilizing SAP custom developed and 3rd party software stacks. DevSecOps is the guiding strong methodology enabling Continuous Development and Integrations in an agile environment. SAP's internal business landscapes build on private, respectively hybrid cloud platforms are a strategic enabler for SAP and therefore crucial for SAP's future success in the cloud.

You will oversee architecture and operation of web business landscapes served to SAP’s customer and corporate environment.

It’s our responsibility to plan and deploy highly-availability solutions in private and public cloud to allow high-impact changes frequently and predictably with minimal toil. Ensure 24x7 operational service in collaboration with internal & external partners

Role Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in building software products / components in a hybrid or cloud environment.
• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or allied branches

• Certified knowledge around Azure Public Cloud or strong expertise around SAP’s private Hyperscaler CCLOUD and Kubernetes/Gardner
• Strong knowledge with DevOps practices and tools like. Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo
• Experienced with Agile Methodology / KANBAN / Jira
• Brought knowledge on web-technology stacks
• Good knowledge of network design & security principles
• Experience with observability / APM technology
• Basic knowledge and experience in at least one programming / scripting language such as Python or, Ruby
