Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What we do

As the EMEA Business AI Office, we are at the forefront of driving AI innovation, adoption and scalation for our customers across the EMEA region. We work closely with our customers to identify, accelerate, and enhance their business processes to deliver real business results. We are committed to building relevant, reliable and responsible AI solutions that transform the way companies operate.

Who we are

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Officer to join our Business AI team in EMEA. This role is essential in driving customer success, building strong relationships, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. You will act as the trusted advisor to the Head of Business AI EMEA, providing strategic support, execution, and leadership to ensure operational excellence.

We are a diverse and highly collaborative team, bringing together a wide range of professional backgrounds and perspectives. We are driven by curiosity, ambition, and high standards, and we challenge each other to deliver our best. At the same time, we foster a supportive and inclusive environment, where we show up for one another, celebrate successes, and genuinely enjoy working together.

What you'll do

Customer Relationship

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, handling complex inquiries and escalations with professionalism.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating customer needs and preferences during strategic decision-making processes.
  • Build customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.

Operational Excellence, Events and Project Management

  • Drive project management support for key strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Support on our AI workshops and event planning.
  • Develop and maintain structured processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency across the department.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor and right-hand to the Head of Business AI EMEA, supporting strategic planning and execution.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of five student assistants, ensuring their growth and alignment with team goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, acting as a team player and encouraging cross-functional cooperation.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of customer service or customer success experience, preferably in a technical or B2B software environment.
  • Experience within Project Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-stakes customer interactions independently.
  • Strong understanding of customer account management, billing, and service policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships across organizational levels.
  • Flexibility and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time across regions.

We value candidates who:

The ideal candidate is proactive, structured, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a natural ability to follow through and ensure high-quality execution. You take ownership, create momentum, and contribute positively to a high-performing team environment.

Just as importantly, personality is key. We are looking for someone who brings strong interpersonal skills, positive energy, and a collaborative mindset - someone who naturally contributes to team cohesion and acts as a central, trusted presence within the team.

Driving real impact with AI and building long-term capabilities with our customers is not easy work. It requires curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership in a fast-moving environment.

In return, you will join a high-performing and collaborative team, gaining exposure to strategic AI initiatives and customer engagements across EMEA. Through hands-on experience, and continuous feedback, you will have the opportunity to develop quickly and take on increasing responsibility.
