Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Role Summary

As Innovation, AI Tool & Digital Modalities Senior Specialist you will lead the programmatic adoption and scaling of AI technologies, automation capabilities, and digital modalities across the EMEA Digital Hub. You will transform early‑stage experiments into measurable, scalable solutions that improve productivity, enhance revenue generation, and strengthen business outcomes.

Operating with a startup mindset, you will partner cross‑functionally with Digital Hub leadership and teams, Global GTM Modalities, Product, Legal/Compliance, Procurement, and external technology vendors. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of innovation initiatives — from discovery through sustained usage — ensuring governance, ROI, adoption, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Program design & governance
    • Build and operate a structured methodology for progressing concepts from pilot to scale.
    • Maintain a technology radar and a prioritized, data‑driven innovation roadmap.
    • Ensure governance, compliance, and structured decision‑making frameworks.
  • Discovery, evaluation & business case development
    • Identify and lead the discovery of best‑in‑class technologies such as AI, automation, cloud, and digital solutions.
    • Prepare compelling business cases, including ROI models, value impact assessments, and investment recommendations.
  • Pilot design, adoption & scale readiness
    • Design and execute rapid, adoption‑focused pilot programs using “test–learn–iterate” methodologies.
    • Define success criteria, measure outcomes, and validate scale readiness.
    • Transition validated pilots into operational regional rollouts.
  • Rollout assets, enablement & change acceleration
    • Develop scalable rollout assets, including playbooks, governance templates, enablement curricula, KPI dashboards, and communication toolkits.
    • Drive training cycles, evangelize adoption, and build communities of champions to ensure retention and long‑term value realization.
  • Change management & stakeholder alignment
    • Lead change management activities across Digital Hub functions, ensuring alignment, engagement, and structured communication.
    • Serve as the escalation point for rollout blockers, process changes, and adoption challenges.
  • Measurement, Insights & continuous improvement
    • Define, track, and report adoption and impact metrics using structured measurement frameworks.
    • Surface learnings and insights to refine programs, enhance scale strategies, and optimize return on investment.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in digital transformation, program or product management, technical business development, sales engineering, or change management, including hands‑on exposure to AI and automation tools.
  • Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and scaling digital solutions with measurable impact.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with analytical thinking and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, data‑driven mindset with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑changing environments.
  • Strong program/project management capabilities, including prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong cross‑functional relationships.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud software and high‑volume digital/remote customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, compliance frameworks, and responsible AI considerations.
  • Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.
