What you’ll build


In this role, you will support the Business Delivery and Customer Office of the Customer Engagement and Adoption, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will contribute to strategic initiatives around SAP’s Services Evolution and its broader transformation agenda, while helping shape how we engage with customers at scale.


You will play an active role in preparing executive-level engagements and driving insight generation on key innovation topics. We are looking for a motivated student who is eager to learn, collaborative, and excited to bring fresh ideas into a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


What you’ll do


As part of your role, you will support the preparation and day-to-day activities of the Head of Customer Engagement & Adoption (CE&A), a global organization of ~21,000 employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research on cutting-edge topics and industry trends in the context of professional services
  • Investigating emerging technologies, with a focus on AI and its application within business and customer engagement contexts
  • Supporting the preparation of executive briefings, presentations, and customer meetings
  • Assisting with strategic projects and internal initiatives within the Business and Customer Office
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth execution of daily operations

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics/Business Administration or related.
  • Computer skills / Programming languages: Office 365 (MS Power Point, MS Excel), first experience in one programming language and one of the current AI topics, e.g. LLMs/Claude.
  • Language skills: Fluent in German, English written and verbal
  • Soft skills: team player, reliable, eye for details, ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations/topics
  • Others: Work-related experience in software industry is a plus

Positioned close to senior leadership, the team plays a key role in shaping strategic priorities and enabling effective customer engagement across the global Customer Engagement & Adoption (CE&A) organization.


Working at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution, the team drives thought leadership on emerging topics such as AI while ensuring that leadership is equipped to engage with customers in a meaningful and impactful way. Through collaboration, insight generation, and a strong focus on business outcomes, we help translate SAP’s strategic vision into tangible value for customers and the broader organization.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
