MEET YOUR TEAM

The Data Protection Audit & Cross-Collaboration team at SAP supports cross-functional operational areas and collaborates with a global network. Our mission is to help all SAP business units and legal entities run their business in compliance with applicable data protection obligations by providing guidance, tools, and structured methodologies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Data Protection Specialist in the dynamic Data Protection Audit & Cross-Collaboration team, you will act as main driver for data protection compliance and trusted advisor for business specific data protection topics. In this role your primary tasks will include:

  • Support and manage data protection related inquiries in the DPP ticket system
    (Shared Service Framework)
  • Forward to and/or align data protection cases with other stakeholder to support SAP’s business units and other requestors inside and outside of SAP
  • Contributes to data protection cross projects in cooperation with other teams
  • Builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP (Data Protection Community)
  • Support and drive roll-out activities to the DPP community concerning new requirements, guidelines and processes
  • Monitoring and reviewing of data protection compliance based on defined processes / standards
  • Support and execute data protection audit activities for SAP suppliers as part of SAP’s Third-Party Risk Management
  • Help SAP business units to utilize AI technologies compliantly with data protection & privacy laws

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration, business information or adjacent disciplines (university or university of applied sciences)
  • Strong analytical skills to drive root cause analysis for complex problems
  • Motivation to work both as an individual and collaboratively in virtual teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Project management skills
  • Prior experience in data protection and privacy or risk assessment is beneficial

NICE TO HAVE

  • Professional experience in a relevant area
  • International experience would be an asset for collaboration with multi-national teams
  • Experience in data protection and privacy, data management and/or audit is a plus
