Job Description

Salary: £28,500 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised Events Administrator to join our team of 5. With a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service and passion for building your career in events, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our vibrant events programme. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio in-person, online and hybrid events.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Confident and articulate in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise effectively with members and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong ability to manage workload, identify priorities, and address time management concerns efficiently.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Quick thinking, proactive, and calm under pressure, with a knack for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of usual office hours. During busy periods, this may include a minimum of one evening per week and two Sunday mornings/evenings per month to support the delivery of out-of-hours digital events (TOIL/overtime policy applies).

Desirable:

  • Experience in an events environment, both digital and face-to-face.
  • Experience with event management systems.

How we are currently working

RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
