Job Title: Early Careers and Skills Co-ordinator

Location: Barrow in Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £30,950

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead on co-ordination of the education services budget and undertake purchase ordering and financial administrative duties for the immediate and wider team
  • Undertake all administrative tasks in relation to organising visits/events within the team. This includes room bookings, requesting site passes and visitor bookings
  • undertake calendar management duties ensuring that all activities/events/programmes are correctly displayed and the UK tracker is updated with all relevant information
  • Coordinate the necessary paperwork for travel and security for all activities/events/programmes
  • Provide administrative support to early careers delivery teams and Management, this will include preparing resources for events, chaperoning visitors and crosschecking data

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills with dealing with both internal customers and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • High level of data accuracy and detail required
  • Ability to coordinate and organise large volume of tasks for others
  • Be able to adapt easily to a quick paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint (and advantageous- Project)

Desirable:

  • Understanding of business unit and admin processes such as finance would be desirable

The Early Careers Team:

Within Education Services, you will be contributing to the delivery of our Graduate programmes and Education Services activity across the Submarines business unit, in alignment with Early Careers & Skills process and practices across the UK operation. This exciting role will provide you with the opportunity to make a huge impact on the success of future talent for the business and our local communities by working within the Graduate and Education Services team.
