Senior Bid Manager

Employment type:  Full time

Job Description

Senior Bid Manager

We’re looking for someone who can take our wins and rocket them to new levels—someone who can work with us, challenge us, and push us to do better. Not just a writer. Not just a strategist. Not just a project manager. We need a one-of-a-kind blend of skills to transform complex inputs into compelling, structured, winnable bids across multiple clients and sectors.

Who We Are

Here at tmc3, we set out to build a people-focused cyber security consultancy. Three founders, zero funding, and a big dream. Now we’re at £4m in revenue in just three years, with the added bonus of being acquired by Qodea—Europe’s largest Google transformation partner.

Big ambitions? You bet. Our goal at tmc3 is to quadruple in size in two years, and Qodea is scaling to over double its current revenue in the same timeframe. That’s where you come in. We need someone to work across both tmc3 and Qodea, innovate the way we do bids, and drive this activity forward.

As we continue to grow and pursue increasingly complex opportunities, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Bid Manager to bring their expertise and leadership to mature and optimise our already successful bid management function

Where You Come In

  • You’ll lead, write, shape, and manage bids that stretch across tmc3 and Qodea.
  • You’ll own the bid function in the future, but for now you'll need to build it and all associated processes—while drawing on our consultants’ expertise (which varies in ability and availability).
  • There’s a hands-on writing element involved until we grow enough to add extra bid support around you.
  • You’ll champion what makes tmc3 (and Qodea) unique—and articulate that compellingly to potential and existing clients.

Requirements

What We Need

  • A proven bid win rate of around 70–80%.
  • Deep understanding of public sector frameworks—which ones matter, how to get on them, and how to win work once you’re there.
  • Strategic thinking: you can quickly grasp our value proposition and translate it into persuasive responses.
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality—we’re one of Europe’s fastest-growing SMEs, and we are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to help drive growth from the front.

Benefits

What's In It For You

  • Work in a fully remote, UK-based environment with flexible hours, minimal bureaucracy, and maximum trust.
  • We’re backed by Marlin, an £8bn investment fund, so we offer market-leading packages and the excitement of building a new global tech consulting brand.
  • The chance to shape a scaling bid management function, and truly make it your own. You will play a key role in its ongoing evolution and future success
  • A culture that values people first—we support your business and personal goals, and we genuinely believe you should have fun while doing serious work.

We’re a small team of industry SMEs who know how to get things done, and we like to keep it that way. We’ve built a solid base, we’re booked well into the future, and now we’re ready to bring on a new Senior Bid Manager to help us reach new heights. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, let’s talk.
