Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 DOE
Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London office)

Together, Pod and EO are helping logistics, transport and operational fleet customers electrify at scale, optimise charging performance and make better use of existing grid capacity.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Pod. You'll work closely with our CEO, CFO and senior leadership team on some of the most important decisions facing the business, from growth strategy and market expansion to new commercial opportunities. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, turning insight into action and influencing outcomes at the highest level. You’ll be responsible for:

• Shape Pod’s Strategic Direction - You’ll partner with the CEO and CFO to define, challenge and refine Pod's strategic priorities. You'll help evaluate growth opportunities, market entry options, business model evolution and long-term value creation
• Lead High-Impact Strategic Projects - You’ll own strategic initiatives from start to finish, framing complex problems, conducting analysis and delivering clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Monitor the Market and Competitive Landscape - You’ll track market trends, competitor activity and developments across the EV charging ecosystem, turning insights into strategic recommendations that help Pod stay ahead of the market
• Support Commercial Growth Initiatives - You’ll work closely with commercial and operational teams on pricing strategy, network expansion opportunities and potential partnerships, ensuring decisions are underpinned by robust analysis
• Build Business Cases and Financial Models - You’ll develop compelling business cases and financial models to support major investment decisions, including strategic partnerships, new growth opportunities and M&A activity where relevant
• Measure Strategic Performance - You’ll track the performance of strategic initiatives after launch, assess outcomes against objectives and recommend adjustments based on data and business performance
• Connect Insights Across the Business - You’ll bring together perspectives from Finance, Product, Commercial and Operations teams to create a clear, coherent view of business performance and strategic priorities for leadership
• Champion Pod’s Values - You’ll play a pivotal role in defining Pod's strategic direction, working closely with leadership to drive growth, influence key decisions, and champion Pod's values through every initiative you lead.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Strategic Problem Solving - You’ll have several years' experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a similarly analytical role, with a strong track record of solving complex and ambiguous business challenges
• Analytical Excellence - You’ll have the ability to structure problems, build evidence-based recommendations and translate data into clear actions that drive business outcomes
• Financial Modelling Expertise - You’ll have strong experience developing financial models, commercial analyses and investment cases that support effective decision-making
• Stakeholder Influence - You’ll be familiar with presenting to senior leaders, communicating recommendations clearly and influencing decisions across a variety of stakeholders
• Commercial Acumen - You’ll have the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution, moving comfortably between long-term opportunities and operational realities
• Passion for the Energy Transition - Given where Pod is headed, you’ll need to have a genuine interest in sustainability, electrification and the evolving EV charging industry
• Collaborative approach - Comfortable working in agile teams, open to feedback and continuously looking for ways to improve how you work
• Clear communicator - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly
• Curious problem solver - A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and a genuine passion for developing your engineering craft.
