Salary: £25,000
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in London office)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start oftheir marketing career to gain real, hands-on experience across CRM and lifecycle marketing. You’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one, supported by a team that’s invested in your development, and exposed to tools like HubSpot that will set you up for future success. You'll be responsible for:

  • Support lifecycle marketing campaigns - you’ll help build, test and deliver email campaigns across the full customer journey, from lead nurture and onboarding through to upsell, cross-sell, loyalty and advocacy

  • Assist with email production - you’ll draft, proofread, format and quality check emails, ensuring every campaign is accurate, engaging and on brand. You’ll also support with asset creation where needed

  • Build and manage audience segments - you’ll help group customers and leads into relevant segments, ensuring each audience receives targeted, meaningful communications

  • Analyse and report on performance - you’ll track campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates and conversions, and help turn data into clear insights that improve results

  • Support loyalty and advocacy initiatives - you’ll contribute to campaigns, that keep customers engaged, including referral programmes, rewards and retention-focused activity

  • Collaborate across teams - you’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Product and Tech teams to support their email requirements and help deliver a seamless customer experience

  • Support marketing operations - you’ll help manage the campaign calendar, coordinate briefs, keep processes organised and ensure documentation is always up to date

  • Develop CRM expertise - You’ll receive hands-on training in HubSpot, gaining valuable experience in a leading CRM and marketing automation platform.

What you’ll develop during your placement year:

  • Active listening and questioning – learning how to understand customer needs and tailor conversations

  • Resilience and confidence – handling objections, learning from complex installs, and staying motivated

  • Time management and organisation – balancing calls, follow‑ups, and admin in a busy environment

  • Adaptability – adjusting your approach for different customers and situations

  • Team collaboration – working closely with experienced homecharge professionals and learning from others

  • Problem‑solving skills – thinking on your feet to overcome challenges in live conversations

  • Confidence working towards targets – understanding how goals, KPIs, and performance tracking work

  • Commercial awareness - gaining insight into how operations teams contribute to business Success.
