Job Description

About Us

Since 2016, Patchwork Health has been on a mission to make truly flexible and sustainable working a reality for all healthcare staff. Their fully integrated workforce management solution helps optimise outcomes for organisations, managers, staff and patients alike. Built by a team of dedicated healthcare veterans, and co-created with the NHS, their technology and services have been embraced by over 100 healthcare sites to date.

Patchwork offers a range of different solutions, including temporary staff banks, which enable organisations to source temporary staff from their own pool of approved workers; ‘collaborative staff banks’, which help healthcare organisations team up with others in the same region to widen and share their temporary staffing pools; an innovative new rostering solution which enables more flexible, sustainable staffing for permanent healthcare staff; and an Agency Manager which makes it easier for managers to select appropriate temporary staff from external agencies when necessary. Patchwork Insights also provides managers with comprehensive data oversight, to monitor staffing trends, shift fill rates and pay rate escalations, and reliably plan ahead to prevent staffing gaps.

Patchwork Health has been recognised as HSJ’s 2022 Staffing Solution of the Year, and have recently received the prestigious HSJ Partnership Award and the Spectator’s Economic Innovator of the Year Award.

The Role

At Patchwork, our Marketing Team plays a key role in driving growth, building brand awareness and creating meaningful engagement with NHS organisations and healthcare professionals. Working closely with teams across the business, we deliver clear, compelling and differentiated messaging that helps customers understand the value of our products and services.

As a Marketing Executive, you'll support the delivery of marketing activity across the entire customer journey, from generating awareness and engagement through to supporting sales and customer growth. This is a broad, hands-on role that offers exposure to a wide range of marketing disciplines and the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a growing HealthTech business.

Working closely with colleagues across the Marketing Team and wider Revenue function, you'll help bring campaigns and initiatives to life, ensuring activity is delivered effectively, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll contribute across a variety of areas, including event coordination, campaign execution, content creation, digital marketing, asset production and marketing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to learn, offering broad exposure across the marketing function and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a growing HealthTech business.

  • Use branded templates and AI-powered tools to produce engaging content, graphics and social media assets.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content, applying captions, audio and branding to create polished, publish-ready assets.
  • Coordinate with freelance designers on larger projects, helping to brief work, manage feedback and ensure projects are delivered on time.

Social Media & Website Management

  • Support the day-to-day management of our social media channels, including scheduling content, creating assets and maintaining channel hygiene.
  • Publish and update website content, ensuring landing pages, blogs and other updates are delivered accurately and efficiently.

  • Build and maintain targeted audience lists to support email marketing and paid advertising activity.
  • Assist with reporting by gathering and analysing key marketing performance metrics across digital channels.

Team & Campaign Support

  • Act as a central support function for the Marketing Team, helping campaigns and initiatives run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate company merchandise and printed materials, supporting marketing activity and wider business initiatives through our fulfilment processes.

  • A hands-on, proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence collaborating with colleagues across different teams, as well as external suppliers and partners.
