About the Role

As Head of Product & Business Partnership you will steer our Product Management and Technology Business Partnership functions, ensuring every potential opportunity to enhance customer and colleague experiences are surfaced, shaped, and assessed with rigour. Reporting into the Director of Product and Demand, you will create and run the governance framework that captures business demand, challenges assumptions, and turns ideas into evidence-based investment recommendations. By providing clear criteria, decision points and controls, you will help the business focus on the initiatives that drive the greatest value for our customers, colleagues, and pets.

Working closely with senior leaders across Retail, Vets, Grooming, Insurance, Distribution, VCL and Support Office, you will blend strategic thinking with practical delivery know-how. You will give the Principal Product Owner definitive direction on approved priorities, champion data-led decision-making and foster a high-performing, resilient culture across Product and Business Partnership teams. Success in this role means converting ambition into achievable outcomes, guiding teams through ambiguity, and ensuring every pound invested delivers measurable benefits in line with our goal of building the world’s best pet care platform. You will have four direct reports and the support of a wide range of stakeholders and peers, each invested in our continued success and of driving the optimum value for customers, colleagues and pets.

About You – what we would like you to bring to our role

We are seeking a senior leader within Product Management or Technology Business Partnerships functions, with expertise gained within complex, muti-channel retail or consumer-focussed organisations. You will bring a successful track record of designing and running demand or portfolio governance frameworks that balance strategic alignment, commercial value and delivery feasibility.

With strong commercial acumen and a track record of developing robust, evidence-based business cases and driving measurable value realisation, you will be a naturally curious leader, resilient and agile.

Bringing exceptional stakeholder management skills and able to build trusted relationships, you will be confident to present constructive challenge and influence at C-suite level.

A skilled and intuitive people leader, you will be adept at leading teams through ambiguity and change, fostering resilience, adaptability and continuous improvement.
