About the role

Be part of one of the most ambitious transformation programmes in NFU Mutual's history. We are reshaping how our products are bought, sold and managed, delivering innovative policy, service and digital solutions that make it easier for customers to do business with us. This key strategic programme, is helping to build the foundations for sustainable growth, greater agility and enhanced customer experiences across the business.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Propositions Consultant to support this major programme on an 18-month fixed term contract. You will work with proposition specialists across programme and business as usual teams to help shape, design, deliver and deploy future commercial insurance propositions for customers and agents.

This role focuses on commercial insurance propositions, you will provide market, competitor and customer insight, support proposition and journey design, contribute to product model development, and ensure customer outcomes remain central to decision making. You will also work closely with colleagues across design, build, testing, migration and deployment activities to support successful delivery.

The role is based in Stratford upon Avon and offers hybrid working with 80% homeworking and 20% office attendance.

About you

You are a commercially minded professional who combines excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with strategic thinking and a strong customer focus. You build effective relationships across functions, collaborate confidently with a range of stakeholders, and are comfortable leading change within a complex environment. You use insight to inform decisions and balance customer, business and regulatory considerations to deliver positive outcomes.

• Experience in proposition development, ideally within commercial insurance and or digital products


• Market and competitor analysis skills with the ability to apply customer and industry insight


• Experience delivering business cases and supporting product and proposition decisions


• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and the general insurance product and proposition lifecycle


• Ability to use data and management information insight to support decision making and proposition development
