Job Description
Commercial Services Administrator
- An excellent entry-level opportunity to build a career in procurement and commercial services
- Provide first point of contact support for commercial and procurement-related queries
- Hybrid role with flexibility to work around 60 percent of your hours from home
About the role
We’re seeking an Administrator to join us in a newly created role within the Commercial Services Team. This role sits within our Procurement team and plays a key part in supporting colleagues across the business and external suppliers. You’ll act as a central point of contact, helping people understand and follow commercial processes while ensuring requests are handled efficiently and accurately.
You’ll support the team with a range of administrative activities, including managing shared inbox queries, completing supplier checks, supporting tender, onboarding activity and supplier relationship management and maintaining clear and accurate records. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial Services, Legal, Finance and the wider business, you’ll help ensure our commercial activities are well-coordinated, compliant, and deliver a positive experience for everyone involved.
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll receive structured training and ongoing development. Over time, the role offers exposure to wider commercial and procurement activity, with opportunities to grow your skills and explore future career pathways within the business.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work 60% of your hours from home. To help you give your best in the office and at home, we’re open to discussing what this might look like for you.
About you
You’re a proactive, process driven and critically minded individual. You take pride in delivering an excellent service to stakeholders and you’re comfortable handling a variety of queries with the ability to analyse problems swiftly.
To join the team, you’ll bring:
- Experience working in an administrative or support-focused role
- A strong customer-focused mindset, with confidence handling queries and seeing tasks through to completion
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel; you’re able to manipulate and filter data, using functions such as Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.
- Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- A proactive and organised approach, eager to learn and develop your skills, with attention to detail and accountability for your work
An interested or basic understanding of procurement would be desirable, but we’ll teach you everything you need to know, regardless of your foundational knowledge.
