About the role
As a Change Management Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how change is adopted across NFU Mutual. Working within project and programme delivery, you’ll apply your expertise to influence and embed change that adds real value to our people and processes. This role is strategically important in ensuring that change initiatives are understood, embraced, and sustained across the organisation.
You’ll lead the charge in understanding how change impacts specific user groups, conducting impact assessments and identifying risks to adoption. Partnering with stakeholders across teams such as Agency, Mutual Direct, Regional and Head Office, you’ll design and deliver change adoption activities, track performance metrics, and proactively address barriers to success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating change impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Designing and overseeing adoption activities and metrics to support end users.
- Monitoring stakeholder engagement and identifying actions to reduce resistance.
- Preparing business areas for transition and supporting post-project benefit realisation.
- Acting as a change advocate, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
- Delivering short-term projects aligned with strategic goals.

About you
You’re a confident communicator and collaborator, with a passion for driving change that makes a difference. You bring both technical and non-technical strengths to the table, including:
- Expertise in change strategy, impact analysis, project planning, and risk management. (General Insurance Industry experience desirable)
- Ability to track and report on performance metrics to measure adoption success.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Clear and compelling communication style.
- Leadership and influence across teams and departments.
- Adaptability and resilience in evolving environments.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on shared success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Change Practitioner / PROSCI certification (or willingness to work towards) – Essential.
- Graduate calibre or equivalent professional qualification – Desirable.
- Valid driving licence and/or ability to travel – Essential.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management within project environments.
- Familiarity with organisational and cultural change methodologies.
