Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

P&C – The People and Culture board area enables SAP to build the skills, culture, and workforce required to execute its strategy. The Change & Culture unit, a newer part of P&C, provides a change architecture and consistent approaches to culture and change across SA while building enterprise change capability.

Change & Culture is a people-focused organization dedicated to driving sustainable change. We design and deliver organizational development (OD) and change management strategies that

empower employees, strengthen resilience, and build SAP’s capacity for change. Through communities and networks, we enable change for strategic programs and scale impact across the global workforce.

As SAP accelerates adoption of AI-enabled tools, platforms, and new ways of working, Change & Culture plays a critical role in ensuring adoption is human-centered, responsible, and embedded into everyday work. This role helps leaders and employees integrate AI into daily workflows - shaping mindsets, skills, and leadership practices so that AI innovation delivers sustainable business outcomes and a positive employee experience.

Senior Change Manager

This role focuses on the design and implementation of change strategies with a strong emphasis on enterprise AI adoption and future ways of working. The Senior Change Manager ensures that AI-related transformations are approached through a people-centered lens, supporting leaders and employees through significant shifts in how work is performed, decisions are made, and value is created - while delivering measurable business outcomes.

You will work closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, project and program teams, Digital/IT partners, Communications, and other stakeholders to implement change at scale in a complex, fast-paced, global organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Serve as one of the primary change managers for large-scale, strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on AI-enabled and digitally driven transformations across SAP.

· Design and execute holistic change strategies that address the human impact of AI adoption, including shifts in roles, skills, collaboration, leadership behaviors, and ways of working.

· Apply principles of human-centered design to ensure that AI adoption initiatives prioritize employee experience, trust, inclusion, and ethical considerations.

· Build strong, trusted partnerships with sponsors, senior leaders, HRBPs, project teams, Digital/IT, Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared ownership of AI adoption outcomes.

· Enable leaders to effectively sponsor and role-model AI adoption through coaching, facilitation, and practical change tools that build confidence and accountability.

· Mentor and support change champions across the organization, strengthening SAP’s overall change and AI adoption capability through networks and communities of practice.

· Actively contribute to the development of a learning community of change managers by sharing insights, patterns, and lessons learned from AI adoption efforts across the enterprise.

· Lead and support sessions and other enablement formats to build change and adoption capability at scale.

· Continuously sense adoption challenges, resistance patterns, and capability gaps related to AI and enterprise change to evolve ways of working and adapting change strategies as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

· 6–10 years of experience supporting complex, enterprise-level change initiatives in large organizations.

· Master’s degree or equivalent experience in social sciences, business, organizational development, or a related field; professional certification in change management and/or OD preferred.

· Experience working in global, matrixed environments with diverse stakeholder groups.

· Experience supporting the adoption of digital, automation, or AI-related transformations; deep technical expertise is not required, but strong people and adoption leadership is essential.

· Demonstrated curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to quickly understand and articulate their implications for people, culture, leadership, and work design.

· Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority and partner effectively across HR, business, and technology functions.

· Empathy and active listening, with the ability to engage credibly at all levels of the organization.

· Strategic, systems, and future-oriented thinking.

· Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and storytelling skills—particularly in making complex or ambiguous topics accessible and actionable.

· Resilience and adaptability in the face of ambiguity and continuous change.

· A strong growth mindset characterized by curiosity, experimentation, and reflection.
