The Senior Technical Curriculum Lead is responsible for creating the world class global product set for CTOs. They work deep in partnership with our Go to Market team to better understand the needs of CTOs and develop the training needed for today and tomorrows most in demand skills. They are not shy about their passion for skills development and how it continues to evolve.
More practically, they are responsible for shaping the learning products and associated curricula we put out to market for CTOs. They proactively scope and plan for global releases and support cross organisational decision making on customisation or large enterprise requests. They are the technical point of contact for GTM discovery and scoping calls but they also deeply understand what effective learning looks like for roles within a CTO vertical. They should both leverage other teams’ expertise and influence the business to develop the right delivery models, marketing messaging, technology features and content to meet the needs of both role specific and business impact requirements. As we release both synchronous and blended learning curriculum models, they will be vital in quality assuring our product and supporting with ongoing iteration and improvement of products.
Senior Technical Curriculum Leads work under the direction of a Director of Technical Curriculum and will sit within a broad team of Technical Curriculum Leads, Enterprise Learning Architects and Learning Designers. Their performance will be measured against: growth of market share for the CTO vertical, coverage of skills required within the vertical and quality/effectiveness of products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy
Own the development and iteration of skills maps associated with roles and capabilities required within a CTO vertical through various quantitative and qualitiative research methods
Develop a compelling product set in partnership with Product Marketing and Go to Market, shaping how we talk about it and what needs to react and change in different geographies or regulatory environments
Conduct horizon-scanning and target customer demand activities to stay on top of latest skills development pain points and opportunities
Support Go to Market, Finance and Learning Design teams to scope and validate customisation or new product offerings, taking into account market potential versus organisational investment required
Support with evaluation and testing of relevant 3rd party content and learning product partnerships to support expansion or enhancement of the offering(s)
Product Development, Launch and Iteration
Own the development and maintenance of technology driving features such as listed skills and competencies against products, roles and capabilities - quality assuring and iterating how these are used externally for the market and internally to drive our learning platform performance
Support with Go to Market sales and enablement activities including: supporting with development of enablement materials, being available for high priority scoping and sales calls with CTOs
Quality assure curriculum materials developed by SMEs and Learning Designers to ensure they meet market need
Monitor and evaluate product performance inclusive of: revenue generation, market share, client and apprentice feedback, and product feedback to surface insights and improvement areas. Work with Directors to prioritise improvements including communicating trade off and budget implications of different decisions
Engage effectively in feedback loops with key stakeholders and problem solves for both short and longer term wins (i.e.CSM/Delivery/GTM/Launch)
Client and Cross-functional Stakeholder Management
Build strong working relationships with a cross-functional teams to influence and inform as they bring products to market or support with client and apprentice feedback
Create effective visibility of work by preparing documentation and presentations accessible by a wide range of stakeholders and teams
Create credibility at all levels as an internal and external expert on the needs of CTOs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with CTOs or similar technical leaders to bring products to market
Ability to rapidly research, analyse, and comprehend technical and organisation information
Experience setting and executing data-driven content roadmap strategies
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with cohort or online content creation and professional training
Experience of working within regulated structures such as the UK apprenticeship levy
A proven track record in technical education (higher education, instructor-led training, conference speaking, book publishing, and/or eLearning) with understanding of instructional design techniques and approaches
