As an IT Developer for Enterprise Applications, you will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing, and further developing our ERP platform. You will also be responsible for building and improving integrations between the ERP and other internal business systems.

The Enterprise Applications team manages several systems within the ERP ecosystem, including:

  • Core ERP developed using Java within Eclipse, and leveraging XML, JSON, and proprietary vendor languages.
  • System Integrations, using RESTful APIs and developed with PowerShell, VBA, and JavaScript.

Development work is managed in Agile sprints and coordinated by our Scrum Master.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements during early development stages.
  • Provide technical guidance to Business Analysts and develop prototypes where appropriate.
  • Perform peer reviews of code developed by other team members.
  • Conduct developer-level testing prior to Business Analyst functional testing.
  • Participate in daily stand‑up meetings and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
  • Create change records in accordance with IT policies and manage deployments across development and test environments.

Skills & Experience

Formal Education & Certification

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Essential Technical Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial development experience in Java or similar languages (C#, JavaScript)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desirable Experience

  • JSON

  • GitHub / version control
  • Working within Agile delivery teams
