Open House: Finance Shared Services (Pipeline Program) – Mott Macdonald Thailand

Mott Macdonald Thailand is recruiting future Finance Shared Services through a dedicated early‑talent pipeline designed to develop high‑potential students into full‑time Finance team members upon completion of their degree.

Our Bangkok office supports financial operations across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The Finance Shared Services team delivers high-quality accounting support, ensures strong financial governance, and manages country-specific requirements in line with local accounting standards and practices, including setting up regional standardisation.

As part of our Finance team, you will gain hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting within a multinational environment. You will benefit from structured learning, on-the-job training, and close mentoring from experienced finance professionals.

At Mott MacDonald, you will also become part of a broader career community that offers development programs, networking opportunities, and holistic career support.

The Opportunity

This early‑talent pipeline is designed for 3rd– 4th year students or fresh graduates who aspire to build a career in Finance Shared Services operations. Through this role, you will:

  • Support end-to-end accounting processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting)
  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time
  • Gain exposure to broader accounting activities, including bank reconciliations and ad-hoc financial tasks
  • Generate financial reports with analytical insights to support business decision-making
  • Provide guidance to employees across the region on accounting practices and requirements
  • Ensure strong compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Develop professional competencies such as attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and financial problem-solving
  • Work with Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and ERP tools used across Mott MacDonald’s regional operations

This role is ideal for students seeking long‑term growth with the intention to continue with us as a Graduate Renewable Energy Engineer after graduation.

Equality, diversity and inclusion

We put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our business, seeking to promote fair employment procedures and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all. We encourage individual expression in our workplace and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels they have the opportunity to contribute.

At Mott MacDonald, we believe it makes business sense for you and your manager to choose how you can work most effectively to meet your client, team and personal commitments. We embrace agility, flexibility and trust.
