You will partner the UK Sales team to deliver revenue and profit plan targets through insightful analysis, objective counsel and outstanding decision support. Working as part of the wider Commercial Finance team to continuously improve capabilities and ways of working in one of Mondelez’s biggest regions.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Build strong relationships with the Sales teams based on insight and challenge to ensure finance are able to influence future decisions to drive value

  • Business partner the Sales teams in maximising the return on promotional investment and delivering profitable JBP’s (Joint Business Plans), supporting key business processes including monthly actuals and forecast reporting focussing on the quality of net revenue delivered and ensuring a high level of financial control including month end and forecast cycles and delivery of insightful financial reporting to stakeholders

  • Work closely with the other customer Finance Managers & the analyst team based in Genpact to ensure consistent ways of working, drive continuous improvement of processes and cover peaks in workload as required

  • Champion specific projects and analysis work to support the delivery of short and longer term category value, e.g. promo profitability, JBPs, value driver

  • Ensuring revenue recognition and compliance with key internal controls and audits

  • Build sales/ finance team capabilities and support relevant projects, systems and processes

  • Role model a development mindset through on the job learning, feedback and self development learning

What you will bring:

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets

  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business. Relevant experience in a regional/local business

  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company

  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Experience working within a commercial or operational finance environment, preferably within FMCG

  • Effective influencing and communication skills with senior stakeholders, with an ability to simplify the complex

  • Strong strategic mindset with excellent analytical skills and a logical way of thinking

  • Ability to relate to and influence a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Proactively drives and embraces change, and feels comfortable with ambiguity

Education / Certifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) is optional.
