What you need to know about this position:
You will execute internal and external communications activities supporting our Corporate and brands’ campaigns, including publishing, measurement coordination and other operational activities across internal and/or external channels.
You will execute the Health, Safety & Environment activities needed to comply with the Mondelez rules and Portugal legislation.
You will execute communications activities supporting our Corporate and brands’ campaigns including publishing, measurement coordination and other operational activities across internal and/or external channels, in coordination with the Iberia Corporate & Government Affairs department and local engagement teams.
You will also execute the Health, Safety & Environment activities needed to comply with the Mondelez rules and Portugal legislation.
How you will contribute:
In this role, you will have a dual function:
One focused on supporting the Corporate and Government Affairs (CGA) plan And the other on Health and Safety (HSE).
Corporate and Government Affairs (CGA)
On the Corporate and Government Affairs (CGA) role you will have the responsibility to execute media relations, government affairs, internal communications and community engagement activities in Portugal, aligned with the Iberia team and local management. You will manage the local Communication and PR agency to monitor and measure communication channels and/or advocacy activity, including but not limited to traditional media, social media, media hotlines and more. In addition, you will support operational activities to deliver key internal and external communication priorities, including content development for internal communication platforms, and event planning execution, collaborate with the local Leadership Team and colleagues to share best practices and ensure activities are delivered within budget.
Health and Safety (HSE)
On the Health and Safety (HSE) role, you will lead all HSE activities (incl standards & procedures, reporting, compliance and audit) in Portugal and will be accountable for making sure that HSE programs are well implemented and meet the relevant standards and regulations at the location. In partnership with the Facilities team, you will ensure applicable legislation and internal standards are in place (facilities are well maintained; regulation/procedure are in place and implemented), guaranteeing ongoing compliance. You will also manage the local Healthcare provider, ensuring compliance with local legislation (monitoring regular assessments, reducing risks for employees, making sure we are compliant to local Health & Safety requirements).
Job specific requirements:

- Collaborative mindset to interact with different roles, departments and stakeholders
- Interest in different areas of the business as communications or government affairs, issues management, safety and environmental technical standards and project management
- Achieving results, attention to details and working under pressure with a collaborative approach
- Analytical and time management skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Learning agility to leverage digital tools and systems such as MS Office applications, SharePoint, design and video editing software
- Portuguese and English fluent
- Spanish fluent is a plus
