Overview

As a Strategic Programme Manager in the Business Acceleration Solutions (BAS) team, your passion for customers, technology and learning will be valuable as you support the execution of our Go To Market (GTM) Investment Management strategic initiative and take accountability for incremental revenue and market growth. Building on your financial and operational management skills, you will collaborate across a complex organisation and a variety of stakeholders to drive clear business results.

Your breadth of capability across project management, program execution and data analysis, as well as your familiarity with the D365 product suite, will enable you to partner with our sales and operational teams to support investment programs in a programmatic manner and deliver genuine business value to our customers.

Business Acceleration Solutions Team

The BAP Business Acceleration Solutions (BAS) is a COO-like function with a core mission to Accelerate strategic growth to drive key business results for D365 Business Applications and Power Platform. Leveraging the strength of the D365 gross margin (GM), the BAS team will focus on driving Strategic Initiatives to deliver accelerated growth and deep dive to deliver key results for BAP products and the Dataverse Platform. The foundation of the team is to partner with Product engineering to accelerate cross-BAP and cross-functional collaboration results.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the D365 Business Application & Platform Engineering organisation with project management & program execution as well as data analysis and some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end funding process funnel for strategic Investment Program deals including managing all seller-facing communications, eligibility criteria review, OneAsk case management submission and triage of blockers at pre and post sales investment stages.
  • Manage a number of major investment programs including the end to end budget.
  • Running pipeline, revenue, End Customer Investment Funding (ECIF) and milestone forecast analysis to review impact, progress and gather insights for program owners and leadership team.
  • Providing strategic support for program design.
  • Communicating program status and risk to stakeholders and holding them accountable to aligning to the agreed schedule.
  • Presenting insights to cost-benefit analyses and the evaluation of success metrics, while leading the synthesis of data analytics to derive insights and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting improvements to enable the enhancement of our current processes.

Qualifications

Your ability to navigate complex organisational structures and build relationships where you can influence without authority will be fundamental to your success in this role. Other key skills and experience you will be able to demonstrate include:

  • Practical knowledge of Business Applications technology, either as a seller or in an operational context
  • Regular communication and presenting of data and insights to both internal and external
  • Experience of coaching and collaborating with field teams, customers, and product teams to ensure customer success
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in using Excel with a preferred background developing in PowerBI or related telemetry tooling
  • A background working within a large matrix organisation and engaging with virtual teams
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or equivalent experience.

Please note that there is some occasional travel expected in this role.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. There may be other customer and/or government security screening requirements needed.
