Job Description

Overview

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through our omni-channel, multi-format, global platforms.

The team empowers Sales House partners to sell MSA products to advertisers in a predefined territory (region or market). We are seeking a top performing Sales Excellence Manager to drive our strategic focus through this sell-through sales motion, enabling our internal sales team and our Sales Houses achieve growth through advertiser acquisition, account management, and identification of growth opportunities.

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the Partner Sales Executive and Sales Leader for the EMEA LATAM region, and will need to understand all aspects of their business. Your role involves participating in and leading elements of the Sales House selection process, partner onboarding, partner enablement and partner operations and ROB. This role enables Sales Houses with programs, tools, processes, and insights. This opportunity will allow you to balance leading, doing, and influencing, in close partnership with a matrixed partner set. Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the selection of Sales House Partners to represent MSA and accelerate MSA market growth objectives, inclusive of agreed-upon staffing plan, RoB, and marketing commitments.
  • Prepare the Sales House contracts, inclusive of targets & incentives.
  • Set up Sales House partners on Microsoft systems with appropriate login credentials and tool access, ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Establish high-quality relationships with internal partners across the business, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Support, Learning & Development, other Sales and business teams.
  • Manage a regular Monthly Business Update. Collect & evaluate Sales House and market performance data to measure success and improvement opportunities and engage with SH monthly to assess and measure performance against agreed upon goals, and address any blockers.
  • Guide Sales growth opportunities and contribute to semi-annual strategy reviews.
  • Lead Execution Excellence. Drive consistency and excellence in the sales process across regions. Share best practices and create custom sales enablement materials.
  • Evolve operational processes and tools. With an analyst, leverage and develop reporting capabilities which enable visibility into revenue, forecast and attainment for internal Sales partners. Drive optimization and improvement in sales team processes and capabilities across the regions. Assess and anticipate customer/partner needs and apply or develop methodologies and resources to transform partners' capabilities, sales processes, and/or partner engagement processes.
  • Enable nominations for revenue attribution & align internal billing processes for Sales House partner needs. Facilitate any billing disputes with between internal and external partners.
  • Internally, review performance towards revenue targets agreed upon in contract and against Microsoft Advertising market growth goals.
  • Extend executive capacity - represent as an internal advocate and an extension of Sales leadership. Advise on and contribute to various aspects of business management (e.g., employee engagement, resource allocation, change management, building high-performing teams) in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Be responsible for the facilitation of the fiscal, strategic and operational planning for the Sales team. Partner with leaders on long-term partner-led strategy

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with active participation in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.
  • Experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.
  • BA/BS from an accredited college/university or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in sales and/or partnering with sales and solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, ideally with experience in advertising sales.
  • Passion for driving revenue, client interaction, actively supporting a growing business while assisting in the success of evolving the way we work
