We are seeking a Principal Program Manager (Contract Management) professional who will be instrumental in optimizing real estate contracts to align with the evolving design requirements that enable our future growth. This leader will utilize their industry expertise to establish best practices in real estate contract management and drive process optimization to accelerate time to market. Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Owns strategic contract management programs, including delivery of executive monthly dashboard, risk registers and mitigation plans
  • Defines programs and collaborates with executives to update and operationalize, driving execution of strategies aligned with company priorities within approved timelines
  • Makes informed project decisions with other subject matter experts
  • Develops a playbook to define processes to manage all project intercepts and retrofits as we align to new designs; collaborates with technical and legal teams, ensuring alignment with evolving Basis of Design (BoD) requirements
  • Participates in complex contract management initiatives, understands customer requests and shares information to drive action across teams, overcomes obstacles by resolving issues, and engages stakeholders to fulfill goals
  • Ensures lessors are complying with standards and regulations for a large-sized portfolio.
  • Develops and implements strategies for continuous improvement in contract management processes to support the evolving needs of the business.
  • Independently identifies goals and opportunities for improvement. Evaluates processes, collaborates with business partners and strategic vendors, and recommends, creates, and implements innovative solutions.
  • Provides continuous feedback and evaluates processes and utilizes resources to leverage operational excellence initiatives that significantly improve the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of projects.
  • Simplifies and summarizes highly complex/multi-dimensional issues into actionable strategies and recommendations for key stakeholders and Microsoft senior executives.
  • Influence and drive results in a complex and highly ambiguous technical and business environment including ability to communicate and influence all levels from senior executives on down and all functions (including engineering, marketing, sales, services, finance and legal).

Independently lead cross-disciplinary virtual teams and drive key business development initiatives for moderately complex programs from creation to implementation in partnership with senior leaders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, Legal or related field AND relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree or Equivalent International Degree
    • OR Completion of a Legal Apprenticeship.
  • Relevant experience as a practicing attorney
    • OR equivalent practice of law.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated adaptability and resilience.
  • Proven track record of achieving results amidst ambiguity across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into easy-to-understand concepts with outstanding communication skills.
  • Key interpersonal traits: Motivation, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics and integrity, bias to data-based decision making and a willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Positive Attitude: Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
  • Proficiency in use of process improvement methodology (ex. Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC-Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).
