Senior Creative & Media Marketing Manager Gateway UK
Location: Can be based at any UK site
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, salaried
We are looking for a Senior Creative & Media Marketing Manager – UK to develop and deliver innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive consumer demand, maximise ROI, and support revenue growth across our UK attractions portfolio. In this high-impact role, you will shape marketing activity across a cluster of attractions including Southsea Leisure Great Yarmouth, Weymouth, Brighton, Hunstanton, Scarborough, Loch Lomond, as well as Edinburgh Dungeon and York Dungeon.
Working within a lean Go-to-Market team, you will partner closely with the Head of Creative & Media Marketing Gateway UK and the Cluster Performance Marketing Manager, with support from Global Centres of Excellence across Marketing, Consumer Proposition, and Indirect Sales. You will collaborate across Global Brand, Global Insights & Strategy, Finance, People, and Merlin Magic Making – the innovation and creative development team.
This is a commercially focused, performance-driven role where collaboration is key. You will design and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media, optimise marketing investment to deliver strong ROI, lead creative campaign development, manage paid, owned and earned media performance, and analyse campaign results to drive continuous improvement. You will also support product, proposition, and seasonal marketing activity while working with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing roles, ideally within entertainment, hospitality, tourism, or retail sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience working within complex organizations and collaborating with different teams, balancing priorities.
- Leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing and developing people, directly or indirectly.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of using data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Proven experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating marketing ROI. Robust commercial understanding in particular the role marketing plays in business performance.
- A passion for the entertainment and tourism industry, with a customer-first approach to marketing.
