Function: Finance

Location: UK attraction site with the requirement to be in London (Arbor) 1 day per week

FTC: 6 months

ROLE Summary

Ready for your next step? We're on the hunt for a Reporting Transformation Lead. In this 6 month FTC you will be be accountable for defining and delivering the enterprise-wide reporting transformation strategy, ensuring the organisation’s reporting landscape enables clear, insightful, and commercially focused decision-making. Operating across a multinational, multi-currency environment, this role will lead the redesign and overhaul of financial and management reporting, establishing a modern, scalable reporting catalogue aligned to strategic priorities.

Working closely with Executive stakeholders. Finance leadership and BI technical team you'll define the vision, design principles, governance, and roadmap for reporting transformation. This role requires you to translate complex financial data into engaging, insight-driven reporting frameworks, ensuring consistency, clarity, and commercial impact.

While not expected to develop reports directly, the role requires strong working knowledge of Power BI capabilities to guide design decisions and maximise value from the reporting platform.

Key Accountabilities

Enterprise Reporting Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and own the enterprise-wide reporting transformation strategy across a multinational, multi-currency organisation.
  • Lead the rationalisation of the existing reporting landscape, eliminating duplication and aligning outputs to strategic priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a phased transformation roadmap with measurable milestones and value realisation targets.
  • Embed a scalable reporting operating model that supports growth, complexity, and evolving business needs.

Reporting Design & Insight Optimization:

  • Design engaging, insight-led reporting frameworks that prioritise clarity, narrative, and commercial impact over data volume.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into executive-ready dashboards that enable informed decision-making.
  • Define enterprise design principles covering layout, visual standards, KPI hierarchy, and storytelling approach.
  • Ensure reporting reflects multi-currency and regional nuances while maintaining global consistency and comparability.
  • Continuously refine reporting outputs based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business requirements.

Governance, Standards & Control:

  • Establish enterprise reporting governance frameworks, including ownership models, controls, and review cycles.
  • Drive standardisation of metrics, definitions, and data hierarchies across business units and geographies.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to enhance accuracy, integrity, and trust in reporting outputs.
  • Monitor adoption and compliance with reporting standards, addressing gaps and driving continuous improvement.

Platform Enablement & Capability Oversight

  • Apply a strong working knowledge of Power BI capabilities to shape report architecture and optimise functionality.
  • Ensure reporting solutions fully leverage automation, interactivity, and drill-down capabilities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data modelling considerations impacting reporting performance and usability.
  • Promote best practice in dashboard design, performance optimisation, and user experience.
  • Champion self-service reporting capability while maintaining appropriate governance and control.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale reporting transformation within a multinational, multi-currency organisation.
  • Proven track record of overhauling and rationalising complex reporting landscapes across functions and regions.
  • Extensive experience engaging and influencing Executive and senior stakeholders, including facilitating alignment workshops.
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI capabilities, including dashboard design principles, data modelling concepts, and platform limitations (hands-on development not required).
  • Demonstrated ability to design insight-led financial reporting that drives commercial decision-making rather than simply presenting data.

Desirable:

  • Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Data, or Business (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience operating within a global matrix organisation undergoing transformation or ERP/system change.
  • Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks and KPI standardisation initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex change environments without direct line management authority.
