HR Advisor – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I)
Dynamic working: We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working policy allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work. Typically for this role you will work 2-3 days per week on-site.
Security Clearance:
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
We have a small but passionate team leading the development of a strategic Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) approach within MBDA UK. We work closely with colleagues across Group ED&I as well as the wider Talent & Engagement team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical action, working with stakeholder across the business and leading initiatives that create meaningful change.
This is a varied and exciting role that will include:
Leading UK ED&I priorities and initiatives
- Act as a UK focal point for ED&I activity, identifying barriers and driving practical improvements in inclusive practises.
- Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of key programmes (e.g., Women’s development programmes)
- Shape how inclusive practise are embedded into everyday processes, environments and ways of working (e.g.: working with facilities to improve accessibility)
Driving impact through employee networks and ED&I champions
- Work closely with UK employee networks and ED&I champions to provide governance, align priorities and maximise impact
- Bring together employee feedback and perspectives to inform decisions and actions (e.g., feedback from listening sessions)
- Lead and coordinate internal and external ED&I reporting (e.g., pay gap / ESG reporting)
Strengthening data and building trust
- Partner with HR and the business to improve ED&I data dashboards
- Create and lead ‘Count Me In’ campaigns that build trust and encourage participation
External partnerships and benchmarking
- Coordinate external accreditations, benchmarking and memberships.
- Turn insights from external partners into meaningful actions
Partnering with teams across the business
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business (e.g., HR / Directorates / Comms / FM / IM / SHE / Security etc)
- Support leaders and teams to progress inclusive practises and champion ED&I
Impactful employee engagement
- Build awareness and understanding of ED&I across the business, with engaging and impactful content. (i.e., role modelling our great people, and sharing why ED&I matters)
What we’re looking for from you:
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and enjoys turning ideas into practical action, and particularly interested in people who bring strong project delivery skills, stakeholder engagement and can-do mindset.
- Experience delivering projects or initiatives that create real impact
- Strong relationship building skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to use data and insights to identify opportunities and guide decisions
- Clear communicator who can develop engaging resources, tools and messages.
- Collaborative and organised, able to bring people together and maintain momentum.
- Emotional intelligence and integrity, able to manage sensitive situations constructively and professionally.
- A continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to improve or simplify what’s in place.
We welcome candidates from a range of professional backgrounds. Experience in HR or ED&I can be helpful, but not essential.
