Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent CHB as a SiG leader in the Mars SiG global community.
  • Strategic planning with SiG regional team to plan and drive site sustainability 5-year target
  • Define Improvement Activities/Project (CAPEX/OPEX) in order to reach committed 5 years goal.
  • Own SiG performance submission in Enablon system to update site energy intensity performance on a monthly basis.
  • Track SiG YTD Energy & Water intensity and figure out effective action plans to ensure SiG target of CHB site are delivered at year end with proper escalation to Leadership team when needed.
  • Own SiG periodical review with SiG regional team to update period result and discuss about some good learnings and support needed.
  • Own and lead CHB SiG workshop in every year to gather solid action plan from operation and reliability teams’ purpose to deliver SiG Energy & Water Intensity target.
  • Own and lead CHB Energy committee in every period plus Energy week organizing one time a year.
  • Manage and Execute SiG & Capital projects to be completed follow committed budget and timeline.
  • Ensure that site energy metering devices (BMS, EMS, PME) have sufficient metering to determine site energy & water consumption.
  • Execute capital projects. Recommend resourcing (people, cost, timings) requirements to enable the delivery of the identified business goals.
  • Work with various party such as human resource, quality, operations, maintenance, and engineering to support the small project
  • Manage FAA and expense commitments for all capital projects. Work within the S&OP+ framework for decision making. Responsible for delivering against project budgets and working within spend authorization guidelines.
  • Complete risk identification and change management processes for all projects that aligns with the regional process.
  • Manages key KPIs for projects and works with the site technical manager to identify improved ways of working.
  • Own and lead the MOM system in terms of the effective usage based on the operation and Q&FS requirement. And ensure the operation team can work with this system correctly.
  • Takes necessary action to eliminate and immediately address safety hazards. Communicate any observed unsafe behaviors immediately.
  • Include Mars Q&FS asset design standards into production facilities in order to safeguard the quality and food safety of our products in a prioritized manner.
  • Deploy the Mars Facilities Guidelines and local external standards to all facilities, ensuring they meet site security requirements and local regulatory compliance.
  • Role model the use and application of the Mars Quality Principle and the Mars Global Quality Standards and ensure escalation procedures are followed.
  • Role model the application of Mars safety standards in order to safeguard our associates and the assets we use.
  • Supervise Utility technician to manage vendors providing facility services and maintenance, taking into consideration the effectiveness and cost efficiency of the vendors

Job Specifications/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. (or other equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years experiences in Energy management, Maintenance, or other related engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge in energy saving and sustainability in manufacturing
  • Good project management skills with experiences in leading Capital project in a multinational manufacturing / FMCG environment.
  • Comfort around ambiguity and ability to influence without authority
  • Expert with Utility System, Preventive Maintenance Planning & Design
  • Skill in Preventive Maintenance & CMMS will be an advantage.
  • Be fluent in English language (spoken and written)
  • Good presentation skill
  • Experience to Deploy Standard, strategy into organization, lead big group of people in special event. (SiG day, etc.,)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
