The Senior PMO Manager – Invoice to Cash provides portfolio, program and governance leadership for strategic transformation and improvement initiatives across the end-to-end I2C process. The role exists to translate Financial Operations priorities into an integrated and executable portfolio that improves cash flow, customer experience, operational performance and value realization.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the portfolio and program management agenda for strategic initiatives across the end-to-end Invoice to Cash process.
Translate I2C strategy and operational priorities into structured programs, roadmaps, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies and measurable outcomes.
Establish and maintain effective portfolio and program governance, including decision forums, reporting routines, stage gates, escalation mechanisms and executive reviews.
Partner with I2C leadership to prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment, business value, customer impact, operational risk, capacity and delivery readiness.
Provide end-to-end oversight of transformation, process improvement, automation, technology and organizational change initiatives across I2C.
Ensure programs have clearly defined scope, objectives, accountabilities, success measures, timelines, resource plans and implementation approaches.
Monitor portfolio health and proactively identify delivery risks, interdependencies, resource constraints, control issues and barriers to value realization.
Develop clear and actionable portfolio insights for senior leaders, covering progress, risks, decisions, financial performance, operational impact and expected benefits.
Coordinate dependencies across billing, credit management, collections, cash application, deductions, disputes and accounts receivable activities.
Partner with Commercial, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Digital Technologies, Finance and market teams to ensure effective cross-functional delivery.
Support programs designed to improve DSO, overdue receivables, cash application effectiveness, dispute resolution, bad-debt performance and cash conversion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Operations Management or a related discipline required.
Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
Project or program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred.
Portfolio management, Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma or change-management certification is an advantage.
Finance, credit management or order-to-cash professional qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Significant experience in PMO, portfolio, program or transformation management within a global, matrixed organization.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Invoice to Cash processes, including billing, credit, collections, cash application, accounts receivable and dispute management.
Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and competing priorities.
Understanding of key I2C performance measures, including DSO, overdue receivables, collection effectiveness, unapplied cash, dispute cycle time and bad debt.
Experience with portfolio governance, prioritization, executive reporting, risk management, business cases, benefits tracking and value realization.
Experience supporting process standardization, ERP, automation, analytics, AI or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence and constructively challenge senior leaders.
Experience in Global Business Services or shared-services environments preferred.
