Job Description:

The Recruitment Specialist will own delivering an exceptional Mars candidate experience by supporting the coordination and execution of the early stages of the talent acquisition process across segments.

Specifically, the role will support recruitment cost management, interview scheduling, logistics, documentation, and reporting. In addition, the Recruitment Specialist will also have the opportunity to drive end-to-end hiring for assigned requisitions, while continuously enhancing Mars’ employer brand and reputation.



What are we looking for?

  • Two or more years of Recruitment related experience
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and composure in a high pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with the Talent Acquisition process and supporting recruitment team
  • Ability to navigate computerized system and strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software (e.g. WD systems)
  • Strong work ethic and excellent follow-up skills
  • Strong customer-centric orientation, attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationship


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Serve as a Mars ambassador and first point of contact to potential candidates throughout the requisition process
  • Work closely with recruitment team to enhance the candidate experience through the recruitment process
  • Manage the recruiting process and recruitment life circle from job intake/ posting through the final stages for assigned hiring requisitions
  • Provide all necessary information to candidates in advance of the interview (interview schedule, additional application requirements, etc.
  • Coach hiring managers on the Mars recruitment philosophy, policy, and process
  • Provide timely and accurate candidate status information to all hiring managers and ensure they are well-informed at each step of the recruiting process
  • Monitor the accuracy of candidate documentation in global and local system
  • Build a strong Mars employer reputation throughout the recruitment process
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling and logistics efficiency
  • Responsible to set up and generate key Talent Acquisition reports and extracting key insights in a timely manner when required
  • Manage TA related cost/expense in timely manner
  • Support all logistics as needed for recruiting events – to include but not limited to campus, job fairs, promotional events with high degree of detail and accuracy
