Job Description:

Replenishment Planning

  • Convert the Short and Long term forecast into dispatch plans / market requirements by SKU based on its unique planning and replenishment parameters.

  • Submit dispatch plans to network planning team and co-ordinate product supply.

Manage and drive superior customer service levels

· Drive superior customer service levels from source units by ensuring the right dispatch phasing across the period by collaborating with network planning team through weekly SMOS.

· Maintain in market product availability and provide the right visibility to cross functional teams to support sales delivery on weekly basis by actively participating in weekly CMOS

· Manage and maintain a 3 period availability outlook (3PO) visibility with cross functional teams.

Ensure Excellence in Execution

· Understand the systematic approach to closing of a process or system performance gaps, and identify and eliminate causes of quality below specifications, process variation, and non-value-adding activities.

· Maintain / document and improve WOW and processes.

· Demonstrate ability to visualize the total process and aid in locating problem areas using process mapping, quality improvement, and visualization tools to locate, quantify, and correct root causes of problems.

Supply Management:

· Ensure on time fulfilment of requirements for products from source units

· Follow up actual production and container booking in order to achieve the period target case fill highlighting any risks or opportunities

· Maintain/monitor the contracted SLAs with source units

· Monitor SU service level (Case fill to market)

· Prepare SMR feeder inputs and reviews

· Implement SLA with Commercial Teams on committed supply horizon

Managing activities / promotions:

· Accountable for sourcing planning parameters input in all activities and promotions

· Working closely with activity management and demand to develop a supply plan for each activity

· Ensure on time supply and provide early alerts to business in case of supply gaps to work on mitigation plans ahead of time

· Provide and effectively manage PIPO plans

Continuous improvement:

· Continuously revisit all source units SLAs and agreed ways of working in order to secure market needs.

· Regular pipeline review to optimize stock covers and working capital

· Represent and own supply planning deliverables for key business projects

· Come up with new tools for replenishment of stocks

· Working closely with CCL team to reduce clearance lead time

KPIs Management:

  • Inventory Management, DIO/DFGO, & DFC

  • Service CSL >97.5% by driving YOY improvement in supply losses

  • Reduce Market NQCs YOY

Context and Scope

This role will collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders and assigned Customer(s) to deliver an accurate demand forecast and convert the agreed demand plan into production requirements making sure the product is delivered on time, in full to meet Customer orders.

This role requires significant commercial, planning and the influencing skills.

Education & Professional Qualification

  • A planning professional with an Engineering or economics degree or Masters in a relevant field such as supply chain management, planning or business management

  • Certification in APICS, IBF or other supply chain specific programs also preferred

Knowledge/Experience

  • 3-5 year of planning experience, preferably within CPGs.

  • Fluent English Language Skills (verbal and written)

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience in working on systems and preferably planning systems

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work well under pressure.

  • Team player

  • Customer Management and analytical experience within CPG environment with a demonstrated ability to act with the customer and company in mind.

  • Good numeracy and analytical skills and experience of applying a wide range of analytics that drive insights and actions for complex customers and a variety of business situations.

  • Experience in problem solving, with the ability to use processes/ tools/ systems to unlock knowledge and generate insights and develop solutions for a wide range of customers

  • A good understanding and application of the sales cycle, trends and broader business implications to making judgments and recommendations for action.

  • Experience of building relationships in a cross functional environment.

  • Experience in areas such as (but not exclusive to): analyst roles, supply, planning sales operations and Customer management
