What You'll Do

As the Staff Accountant at Trü Frü, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-growing consumer brand. You'll manage general ledger functions, financial statements, and reporting while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. *This is a temporary role in Salt Lake City, Utah and is on-site 3 days/week with an anticipated end date of December 2027*

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for balance sheet and P&L accounts with proper supporting documentation; support periodic balance sheet reviews and flag significant findings to management.
• Assist in preparing internal financial statements, including variance analysis and financial highlights for senior management distribution.
• Support year-end closing activities including financial statement consolidation, equity account reconciliation, and related analytics.
• Participate in internal and external audit preparation and information collection; support business unit result submissions to parent company financial reporting systems.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and provide general accounting support to the Finance team; stay current on emerging accounting issues and their impact on the company's financial position.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Financial Management.
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; strong analytical and communication
  skills.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods and/or auditing a plus
• CPA eligible or working towards CPA licensure preferred
