Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Logistics Analyst is the development of operational logistics strategies aimed at driving improvements, and cost control within the logistics function. This role will drive and ensure continuity within the supply chain function to help meet short- and long-term goals by proactively predicting, understanding, improving, and controlling operational goals and process changes to deliver results.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, and transportation, ideally within the CPG industry (Food, Pet Food, or Packaging are strongly preferred).
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to build business cases and work confidently with numbers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience applying Lean methodologies to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset with a focus on optimizing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in matrix environments and collaborating with regional and global teams.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • In conjunction with the Logistics Manager prepare, maintain, coordinate, and provide insights on budget and future costs based on market changes, etc.
  • Manage the LCC reporting metrics and databases for Royal Canin Logistics to improve visibility and analysis standards globally.
  • Preparing and communicating Period reporting to provide logistics cost insights by business segment and transportation type.
  • Maintain and perform analysis and reporting which supports various Supply Chain Distribution functions and measures and enhancements to support with cost savings.
  • Analyze logistics data and initiatives, using a variety of tools to understand, predict, improve, control, and optimize service levels, and maintain supply-chain efficiency while minimizing cost.
  • Lead process improvement projects supporting supply chain key metrics.
  • Lead the analysis and provide statistical information on the tracking of product shipments, returns, and inventory.
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Manage reporting and metrics adherence for carriers and 3PL Warehouse and Suppliers.
  • Develop and execute scorecard for key organizational metrics
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and PO creation and receiving.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
