Royal Canin AI Capability Lead, North Europe
Job Description
Job Description:
Job Purpose/Overview
This role leads the acceleration of AI across the North Europe cluster - acting as a catalyst for change to embed AI into how we operate, decide, and execute.
The focus is twofold: building the mindset and skills to unlock AI at scale, while owning and driving a portfolio of initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
This is a transformation and execution role - turning AI from experimentation into scaled impact, and shaping a culture that converts capability into execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the AI strategy for the North Europe cluster, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Own the AI agenda end-to-end - building the pipeline, driving it through the business, and turning ideas into scaled impact
Shift AI from experimentation to execution - embedding it into how we work, make decisions, and run core processes
Create pace, focus and accountability - making sure the right things get prioritised, delivered, and actually stick
Build capability and shift mindset across the organisation - making AI practical, usable and part of everyday thinking, not a specialist topic
Act as a catalyst for change - challenging how we work today, role modelling new ways of working, and creating the conditions for AI to land and sustain
Establish and own the governance, processes, and metrics to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Higher degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related business field with a strong technology focus.
Excellent English skills are required.
Significant prior experience in a senior role leading AI, data science, or digital transformation initiatives.
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams and developing technical capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in delivering and scaling end-to-end AI use cases with measurable business impact.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems into AI/ML solutions.
Excellent change management, project management, and stakeholder influencing skills.
