As the Associate Rewards Manager for Mars’ largest market, North America, you will play a pivotal role in shaping competitive and motivating pay/compensation structures that attract and retain top talent at Mars.
You will ensure the seamless delivery of merit and bonus programs while contributing to global and local transformational projects that enhance how we reward our Associates, leveraging technology and continuous improvement to create a best-in-class Associate experience.
Additionally, you will support organizational transformations and M&A activities by aligning rewards programs and processes with evolving business needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence Mars’ business success through Rewards.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the annual salary survey process for the markets in scope to ensure Mars stays competitive and has access to accurate market data.
Design and update pay structures that reflect market realities and business priorities, based on published salary survey results and input from Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners regarding talent challenges - enabling Mars to attract and retain the best talent.
Provide all required information, including pay structures, eligibility rules, eligible earnings, etc., and support the smooth execution of the annual merit and STI cycle for the countries in scope.
Identify opportunities to improve Mars’ signature processes and participate in projects throughout the year to enhance the Rewards experience for Associates and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during organizational changes and M&A to provide support with job evaluation and pricing, Associate mapping, and system updates.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or above in data science, economics, HR, or business administration.
Advanced English.
A minimum of 5 years of proven rewards experience and knowledge of compensation practices in the North America market are required; experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of WTW job evaluation methodology is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights that shape decision-making.
Experience in a regional/global corporate environment or multinational company is highly desirable.
