R&D Regional FE Network Senior Manager

The R&D Regional FE Network Senior Manager leads a team of Enterprise R&D Functional Experts and Analysts in one of three regions (Europe, UK, Middle East Africa, Asia Pacific, Americas). This role is vital for establishing and maintaining regional Functional Expert teams to provide expertise within playbook guidelines, relying on strong relationships with Mars Digital Technologies, Corporate R&D and Segment R&D. You will manage a team to ensure effective usage and deployment of R&D systems, adhering to service level agreements.

What will be your key responsibilities?

R&D Digitalization Leadership:

  • You will lead the Functional Expert / Analyst teams and supports the business, in the regional deployment and maintenance for a defined suite of Enterprise R&D digital products.

  • You will ensure a well-established Community of Practices setup with Functional Experts and Key Users across all segments.

  • You will liaise with the Global R&D systems representatives & Corp functions, to assure there is aligned knowledge on the R&D system requirements from the region.

  • You will be responsible for partnering with the Regional R&D systems managers, to ensure the R&D process & systems compliance and adherence to the Global R&D digitalization strategy and supports accelerated deployment through global business alignment.

  • You will ensure the R&D digital products have a healthy continuous improvement process, incident management process & upgrade process in partnership with Product Owners and stakeholders.

  • You will co-Create the specific Operating Model required by the team to develop further ownership. As well as focusing on continuous Improvements of the Operating Model and Governance Model.

  • You will represent in assigned Global Program forums to play the voice of the FE Network team and provides all required tracking and escalates deviations as defined.

  • You will be accountable for engaging with the Regional R&D leaders, to ensure networking, engagement and providing and gathering insights on Quality and Innovation process and system performances.

  • A proven ability to lead and influence senior leaders and their teams across all segments, all regions and across multiple functions.

  • Proven ability to lead a team of associates and contractors. With a mindset of Developer of Talent and engagement.

  • Good understanding of R&D business process, systems and change management.

  • Excellent networker with strong stakeholder management, easily builds rapport remotely, and experienced in delivering projects through others.

  • Able to manage pressure with relationship with external digital vendors.
