What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience working with MNCs public affaires, trade association/chamber/agencies preferably with experience coordinating among different functions and teams
- Strong and proven ability in external and internal stakeholder engagement, interpersonal communication, policy research and synthesis, data analysis, database maintenance, agency management, event management, admin support, and financial process management
- Passion and capabilities to engage external and internal stakeholders per job requirement, and strong ability to provide solid, consistent, and innovative solutions
- Sincere and mature team player with proven ability to work with ambiguity, uncertainty, complexity, and urgency, able to adapt to fast-changing situations while showing resilience and building trust
- Agile learner to pick up new perspectives, knowledge and skills when-and-wherever needed
- Based in Beijing and willing to travel when needed
- Proficient in Oral and written English
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead selected external and internal stakeholder engagement. Oversee general trade association/chamber relationships (for example, AmCham and EU Chamber). Assist in delivering specific requests such as information gathering, policy research, or speech-drafting to support stakeholder meetings as required by the VP.
- Knowledge Management: Design and manage stakeholder database and other knowledge/information databases when it applies. Coordinate the drafting and editing of regular public affairs reports. Compile and organize documents from internal and external meetings. Serve as the primary file keeper for the team and coordinator for PA strategy planning and updating processes.
- Project-Based Support: Provide dedicated operational support for specific, ad-hoc projects as required.
- Team Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Public Affairs team. This includes admin support for the VP as well as specified team admin support, including but not limited to managing shared team calendars, overseeing vendor/agency management, coordinating logistics and operational support for events and activities, and leading financial processes, etc.
